Beyond the Fence
Beyond the Fence is a project I worked on in collaboration with Guidecraft and Dr. Rachel A Larimore. Dr. Larimore is an educator, writer, and speaker who help schools incorporate nature into early childhood education. With Rachel’s expertise, I worked with Guidecraft to develop a product line that would support teachers and children as they spend their school day outdoors under various weather conditions. We developed small structures with amenities like outdoor cubbies, writing surfaces, storage, and wagons. All the different products work together to support the activities of the class.
